John: Have you spoken to Sarah lately?

Alice: I've been trying to, but she seems to be giving me the cold shoulder.

John: That's odd. Did you do something to upset her?

Alice: Not that I know of. Maybe she's just busy, but it feels like she's giving me the cold shoulder.
